Software

Using the software package with more than 10,000 colour recipes, the user can produce all possible colours, including colours according to RAL, NCS, BS, fleet owners, agricultural machinery, etc. If required, the recipe database can be expanded to include the customer’s own colour range.

BICCS Colourpastes

BICCS colour pastes are formulated on the basis of high-quality pigments and a combination of special resins and wetting agents. The pigment concentrations are chosen so that when added according to programme recipes, a colourfast product with superior covering power is created. BICCS has two lines of universal colour pastes: one for solvent-based use and one for water-based use. Both lines consist of 16 to 20 colour pastes. BICCS universal colour pastes are compatible with a wide range of diverse binders.

Water-based BICCS colour pastes

The water-based BICCS colour pastes are usually added in amounts between 1% and 20% by volume. This percentage depends on the colour, the application method, the desired covering power and the type of paint product. For example, these pastes are suitable for use in the following binders:

1 component acrylic dispersion
1 component alkyd emulsion
1 component polyurethane modified alkyd
2 componenten polyurethane
2-componenten epoxy

Solvent-based BICCS colour pastes

The solvent-based BICCS colour pastes are added in amounts between 1% and 40% by volume. This percentage depends on the colour, the application method, the desired covering power and the type of paint product. For example, these pastes are suitable for application in the following binders:

Lean, medium-fat and fatty alkyd resins
2 componenten polyurethane
2-componenten epoxy
Acrylic resins
Vinyl paints
Coating paints
Many high solid coatings, both one and two components
